Job Summary:
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for the materials management function relating to production planning, master data, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control at Roechling’s Rochester Site.
The position is responsible for overseeing all activities and personnel within the Supply Chain function providing oversight and leadership. Incumbent is responsible for establishing departmental goals/objectives and implementing associated activities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute site Supply Chain strategy aligned with Business, Operations and Quality to maximize efficiency and productivity.
· The leader oversees and manages every stage of material flow, from purchasing the raw materials to the delivery of the final product. The following processes are in-scope: forecast-to-plan, plan-to-produce, source-to-contract, procure-to-pay
· Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs.
· Ensure the stocking of components in the appropriate areas to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimize customer service.
· Manage the planning/scheduling function to ensure optimal processing of customer orders.
· Determine key supply chain KPIs and derive actions for sustainable enhancement.
· Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality to develop production capacity plans and strategies for the medium and long term.
· Negotiate and manage supply agreements and co-ordinate Supply Chain related items with customers.
· Responsible for departmental compliance with all company policies, Safety and cGMP.
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
· BS degree in Supply Chain, Business or technical discipline.
· 10 to 12 years’ experience in a customer driven, highly regulated environment. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or MedTech industry is highly preferred.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience leading individual contributors across multiple supply chain functions.
· Existing APICS, SCOR or ISM certification – preferred
· Strong ERP system acumen to help integrate and improve end to end processes, improve compliance and controls. Business Central knowledge preferred.

· Manufacturing environment requiring appropriate eye protection.
· Exposure to high noise level in the work environment requiring hearing protection.
· Gowning and sanitation for manufacturing.
